Dutch Design Week

Together with The Palette Association, the Ethical Fashion Initiative brought emerging Ghanaian designers to showcase their talent on the runway in Holland. Dutch Design Week features a section called MUD focused on African designers with a specific focus on celebrating the skills of African artisans. The brands participating included: Améyo, MO SAÏQUE, Alinafe, Ayek, House of Azoria and Nuna.

Klekleli and Netty Anang of Améyo commented on the event: “It was a pleasure to participate at the MUD event at Dutch Design Week in the Netherlands, where our collection was shown on the catwalk four times. The event was beautiful and inspiring and an opportunity to meet other designers. With a strong focus on ethical and natural fashion, the creativity linked to nature was unique and refreshing.”
