Ethical Fashion Days @ 360 Paris
Join us this October 30th and 31st, 2021 at the 360 Paris Music Factory in the 18 ° arrondissement of Paris at la Goutte d’Or, a meeting point of stylists and artisans from the African diaspora, as we announce our Paris Fashion Week 2022 activities.
During this weekend, fashion professionals and the public will be able to discover the work of the new talents from the EFI Designer Accelerator which aims to prepare designers to achieve their full potential in their chosen field. The program focuses on the specific needs of African fashion designers, using a business development approach. The Accelerator targets fashion and accessory designers producing in Africa who need additional support to accelerate their activities in the international market.
This launch represents the common thread of this ambitious project which will culminate in a major event in February 2022, during Paris Fashion Week. The goal is to create bridges and synergies between designers from several African countries with fashion and lifestyle brands.
The event will begin with a presentation from the EFI Designer Accelerator; an exhibition of the digital SS22 campaigns, which will be followed by a great lineup of round-table discussions.
Expect to hear from a number of African designers based in France as well as two African designers from the EFI Accelerator: Lukhanyo Mdingi, South African designer, winner of the Karl Lagerfeld LVMH prize and Laurence Chauvin Buthaud, designer of the brand Laurence Airline coming from Côte d’Ivoire. Simone Cipriani, founder of the Ethical Fashion Initiative will also be present with many other familiar faces from the fashion industry.
The event takes place October the 30th and the 31st 2021 at the 360 Paris Music Factory, partner of the event, located in the 18 ° arrondissement of Paris at la Goutte d’Or, a reference district of stylists and artisans from the African diaspora. The 360 Paris Music Factory is a place entirely dedicated to cultural creation, to artistic and multidisciplinary events.
