EFI is partnering with NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti
The Ethical Fashion Initiative (EFI) and NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti have partnered to promote the application of good environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) practices in fashion at an academic and industry level, with a view of jointly strengthening sustainability in the fashion industry.
Through this partnership, EFI and NABA will develop initiatives to promote the capacities of artisanal supply chains in the EFI network; involving student contributions through structured course work at NABA. As part of this joint effort to promote EFI’s work with artisans communities to the Italian Fashion Industry, NABA is hosting an EFI Showroom featuring skills and materials from EFI’s network in their Milan campus. EFI’s showroom is open on appointments only for industry professionals.
The partnership also involves a joint academic curriculum related to ESG and Fashion; especially within NABA Academic Master in Sustainable Innovation Communication. In the context of this collaboration, EFI shared with NABA students a brief aiming at the development of the new brand identity of its project Hands of Fashion, and it will also be facilitating guest lectures within the Academic Master.
